Received the genny, installed the wheel kit, hooked up the battery, poured in the oil, read the start up instructions, set the choke, turned on the fuel, turned the key and voila, started right up. Plugged in my compressor and a couple power tools; ran them no problem. then plugged in the M/H, turned on both A/Cs (7200 btu each) no problem, kicked in the microwave, no problem. Then noticed that this generator is actually quieter than the 5.5 kW genny for the M/H. think we're gonna like it.

This was a nice unit to use to replaced a failed existing unit. It was easy to remove from the frame and install on slider mounts in an older LeSharo chassis. I have finished the installation and hope to give it a good run thru in the near future. The unit arrived in good condition, via UPS, and started right out of the box. The only 2 drawbacks are 1)the reduced power at 5600ft. It started to bog down at 3200watts, and 2)there is no connection between the 12vdc output and the battery(no charging with out installing a jumper & blocking diode yourself) Still, it carried the 13.5kbtu a/c without any major issues. So far, I am happy with the unit and it's performance.

I bought this unit for dry camping in our RV. It does everything it is supposed to do - and more. One thing that is most amazing is the little bit of gas it uses. I can run for up to 2+ hrs on a quart of gas. Just keeps on going, even under a load. Starts reliably and easily with the electric start. I keep it on a battery tender between uses. A wheel kit is a must as an accessory. The kit even comes with a fold down handle. This generator easily starts and runs the 13.5 BTU AC without breaking a sweat. I can even run the microwave along with it.
I highly recommend this generator for any RVer. The low cost and high performance makes it a solid purchase. Customer service from the Generator Depot - first class.

Best money I spent, ever! Use it for horse camping. Starts like a dream, noise level is very good-not as quiet as a Honda, but whole lot cheaper. Love it!!!

Did some assembly, battery was included. Started right up on the first try using
key start. Runs smoother than my old Briggs and Stratton generator. I like the
fact that it charges the battery while it is running. Also like the fact that it
has a clock on it that shows how many hours it has on it so far. Sturdy frame,
super tires. Would recommend it to anyone. "
